Coach Teddy Dupay is the Founder of Teddy Dupay Basketball Academy. TDBA is One of the most successful basketball academies in the USA and has done over 8500 trainings, camps and clinics for over 100,000 kids ages 4-18. Teddy was Billy Donovan’s (current NBA Head Coach of Chicago Bulls) very first recruit for the Florida Gators, committing as just a sophomore. He would go on to lead the Gators to their 1st National Championship Game in 2000 as well as back to back SEC Championships.

Teddy is still the All-Time Leading Scorer in State of Florida history (3,744pts).
As a HS Senior, Teddy was crowned Florida Mr.Basketball averaging 41.4ppg was a named to the McDonald’s All-American Team where he won the 3point contest and the John Wooden award, voted on by the players.
His professional basketball career was cut short due to injuries after just 4 years.
Recently inducted into numerous Florida Sports Hall of Fames, including Florida Basketball Coaching Association, Coach Teddy’s legend as a player and a coach have cemented his legacy as one of Florida’s All Time most influential people.

NO BANANA DRIVES! Angles to the Rim - There are key angles and pathways on the court. We call them boost pads, portals or wormholes. On TV, you may hear the announcer say a player was able to "get to their spot". The key to getting to your spots on the floor is to cover a lot of ground per dribble. This is even more important when going past a defender or creating space. Banana Drives means you are curving around the D when you should instead be blowing past your defender.
ABOVE THE BLOCK - Angles to the Rim - There are key angles and pathways on the court. We call them boost pads, portals or wormholes. On TV, you may hear the announcer say a player was able to "get to their spot". From now on, pay attention to your game. Do your successful plays happen above or below the block? What about your opponents? or friends? or anyone you watch on TV. Make the a rule of your game that you never break. This is gold.

On TV, you may hear the announcer say a player was able to "get to their spot". If you get to your spot, and the defense cuts you off, they won't be where they just were an instant ago. This Angle to the Rim is used in all levels and areas of the court and must be mastered by all 5 positions.

Part 2 - Getting to the proper angle of the screen to create a perpendicular angle of attack. Then use a finishing move to do its job, finish the play with points! If you are ever using Pick & Rolls, you must understand this concept and this angle of attack.
This change of direction move is advanced due to it naturally forming because of necessity at the highest levels. If you a young player where to learn this move, practice it daily and then play in the middle of the floor, there wouldn't be a high school, middle school player in the world who could do anything to stop it.
